It's been another packed month on the Assuric platform. August is all about keeping your team on the front foot, and opening your Trust Centre up to more of the people you work with.
Recurring Notifications
Staying on top of compliance deadlines shouldn't mean hunting through the platform. The new Upcoming and Overdue Summary is a digest that pulls together everything coming up or overdue across your workspace, and sends it on a schedule you choose.
Choose your frequency: daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, delivered in your workspace's timezone (or your own).
Pick your channels: receive the digest in-app, by email and directly in Slack.
Fine-tune what's included: set Frameworks, Documents, Tasks and Checklists separately for My items and Workspace items. For example, "overdue only" for your own documents and "2 months before" for framework renewals.
Here's how the digest looks when it lands in Slack, with every item linking straight back to Assuric:
Overdue Checklist Reminders
Workspace admins can now turn on Checklist reminders under Organisation Notifications. When enabled, Assuric emails everyone in the workspace about their outstanding assigned checklists on the schedule you select. It's ideal for chasing staff onboarding and staff compliance checklists without the manual follow-up.
Trust Page Incident Reporting
Your Trust Centre can now take incident reports from external users, such as customers, partners, patients and clinicians. Reports go straight into your Assuric incident log, ready to triage alongside the rest of your incidents.
Incident reporting is opt-in: it's disabled by default and switched on with a single toggle under Trust Centre → Incidents. From there you can:
Choose whether the Incidents tab is visible on your public Trust Centre
Allow anonymous reporting, so visitors can report without giving an email address
Write your own reporting instructions, telling visitors what they should report
On the Trust Centre, visitors see a clear Report an Incident option alongside your frameworks, resources and FAQs.
Once submitted, reports appear in your Incidents dashboard with the source marked as Trust Page Report, so you can filter them instantly.
You can also choose who hears about new reports. Under Organisation Notifications → Incidents, send Trust Page Reported Incidents to a shared inbox (e.g. your DPO or clinical safety mailbox) and/or a Slack channel.
Note: Incident reports use free-text fields. Please make sure your privacy notice covers any special category data a reporter may include.
Custom Trust Page Frameworks
Not every assurance you hold maps to a standard framework in Assuric. You can now publish custom frameworks to your Trust Centre, such as an external NIS 2 certificate, a CREST penetration test or a regional certification.
Just click Add Framework on your Trust Centre and give it a label, logo, description, status and the countries or regions it covers.
Custom frameworks are clearly tagged Custom in the dashboard. They behave just like your other frameworks: you can toggle their visibility, set their status and attach resources, with the same public or access-request controls.
Once published, they sit alongside your other frameworks on your public Trust Centre. Custom frameworks only appear on your Trust Centre and aren't linked to compliance tracking, which makes them a fast way to showcase everything your organisation has achieved, in one place.
Note: Custom Trust Page Frameworks are an opt-in feature. Reach out to the Assuric Team if you'd like to make use these on your Trust Centre!
Other changes this month
UX Overhaul!
We've put a lot of work into making Assuric feel faster and roomier, particularly in large tables:
Infinite scrolling: long hazard logs, incident logs and registers now load seamlessly as you scroll, with no paging.
Resizable columns: drag column edges to give long titles and descriptions the space they need.
Reorder and toggle columns: choose exactly which columns you see, and in what order, from the View menu.
Multi-select and bulk actions: tick several rows and update them in one go, for example setting the status or assignees for a batch of controls.
Widescreen support: Assuric now makes full use of wide and ultrawide monitors.
Performance optimisations across the platform.
What else is coming?
September is shaping up to be a big one. We're putting the finishing touches on MCP write-back, which lets your AI assistant work directly in your hazard log, alongside a set of hazard log and navigation improvements. As always, we'd love to hear your feedback, so drop us a message any time!
