Assuric Release Notes - January 2026

Introducing product scoped tasks, anonymous incident reporting, custom hazard and product tags alongside huge improvements in document upload, editing and export and signin options.

January has a been a busy month for the Assuric Team and platform! We've shipped a host of new functionality and improvements to improve workflows across different parts of the platform. Here is a short overview of new features you will find in your workspace since the new year.

Product-Scoped Tasks

Product scoped tasks allow you to track progress against a framework for a specific product or release. For example, you may wish to track clinical DCB0129 safety document completion for a given product separately from organisational-wide controls.

You can view and edit the frameworks and tasks mapped to a product from either the task or product views.

When creating a new product, or mapping new frameworks to an existing product, you be prompted to select applicable frameworks and create new product-specific tasks for it.

Custom Hazard Log Tags

You can now add custom tags to Products, Hazards, and Causes in your workspace. Tags can be customised with an icon, colour and description similar to other selectors on items, and be used to better group, filter and organise items.

Staff Portal Email Reminders

You will now be prompted to re-notify staff to complete their checklists when making changes in your workspace such as adding new users, updating groups, and adjusting group assignment.

Anonymous Incident Reporting

Admins can now enable the ability for staff to report incidents anonymously from the staff portal. Anonymous reports will appear in the dashboard alongside details of the original report excluding the reporting individual.

The reporter will see a record of incidents they have reported, including their anonymous reports, which they can optionally hide.

You will receive notifications for reported incidents, including anonymous reports based on your notification preferences including in-platform, Email and Slack.

More sign-in options

Default users will receive secure email OTPs alongside email magic-links to improve sign in support in cross-browser environments.

We continue to add and support additional authentication methods including extended SSO options. If you would like to learn about options for enterprise sign-in within your workspace then reach out to the Assuric Team.

Document Editor Improvements

Our engineering team has been hard at work increasing support for the in-platform editor for larger documents. Document files up to 50MB can now be bought in-platform with speed and reliability from .docx, Google Docs, and One Drive / Sharepoint, including robust support for image-heavy and documents and complex tables.

Documents can now be exported at a single page or multi-page PDF alongside fidelity improvements to docx exports.

You will also notice significant reduction in speed of document versioning and export processes.

Other changes in this release

Janurary has bought a host of other improvements including complete SOC2 Framework Support and continued user interface and workflow improvements. We continue to strive to make the platform easy and enjoyable to use and welcome any feedback.

What else are we working on?
